Rembrandt, a extra aged gouda cheese, made in Holland by K. H. de Jong, an independent producer, packer and exporter of fine Dutch cheeses.
Rembrandt was named "World Champion" at the 2004 Wisconsin Cheesemaker's association contest.
Also won a trophy for best "Continental Cheese"and First Place award in the Best Dutch Cheese class.
With characteristics of aged Italian cheeses, this cheese is somewhat hard. Great for shredding, cubing, melting in savory dishes.
It is exceptional.
